The European Parliament (EU) 2023/988 on General Product Safety (GPSR – General Product Safety Regulation) introduces a range of new obligations for manufacturers and distributors within the European Union.

- Maintaining records related to product compliance.
- Responding to reports of accidents, complaints, or safety issues concerning products

In accordance with the applicable regulations, the new legislation also covers printed products and POS materials. The details of the production and distribution processes are determined individually with clients. Depending on the scope of services provided, the role of the manufacturer may be assumed either by Quad or the client, based on mutual agreement.
