Health and Safety Inspector

Responsibilities

  • Performing tasks of the Health and Safety Service as specified by the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of September 2, 1997, on the Health and Safety Service, as well as other tasks of the Health and Safety Service specified in Polish legislation, including, among others:
  • Organizing and conducting health and safety training,
  • Conducting inspections of working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations and principles,
  • Developing documentation on health and safety requirements, including periodic health and safety analyses, collective labor agreements, and internal documents,
  • Informing the employer about identified occupational hazards, along with recommendations for eliminating these hazards,
  • Preparing periodic analyses of the health and safety status and submitting proposals regarding health and safety requirements in existing and newly introduced production processes and ergonomics at workplaces,
  • Reviewing detailed instructions on health and safety at individual workplaces,
  • Participating in the assessment of occupational risk and determining the circumstances and causes of workplace accidents, maintaining records, and developing recommendations based on the investigation of the causes and circumstances of these accidents and occupational diseases, as well as monitoring the implementation of these recommendations,
  • Cooperating with laboratories, the doctor providing preventive health care for employees, and company trade unions.

Requirements

  • Minimum secondary education – Health and Safety Technician (higher education in the field of health and safety is welcome),
  • Professional experience will be an additional advantage,
  • Responsibility and diligence,
  • Communication skills and assertiveness,
  • Proficiency in MS Office,
  • Category B driving license.
